MC : The first Fatima instore event at RISKY DRUG STORE. The guests have already pretty much gathered, but have you gotten used to these kinds of things?
LAY: I'm pretty bad at them.
SANAKA: I like them. (Laughs)
MC: Today, all of you are going to answer some questions for everyone. First, from Mayajimasan, "What's your favorite convenience store?"
MIZUHA: AMPM.
4GE: 7-11.
LAY: Hm. . . Daily Yamazaki. (Laughs)
SANAKA: Lawsons.
TOWA: Family Mart!
MC: Next from Fumisan. This is for Mizuha. "At the time of the Vanilla event, Zen proclaimed his love for you, but what's the truth about your relationship?"
MIZUHA: That's all just your imagination.
MC: Isn't it love?
MIZUHA: No, you're wrong.
MC: Huh? Well. To continue, your abnormal [stage] image is strong, but what's your actual image? Same as stage image??
SANAKA: I think everyone is abnormal except me.
MC: This is from the same person, "Who do you hang out with most in the band (if you do)."
SANAKA: This question is always asked . . . [;_;]
Towa.
LAY: Me and 4ge act alike.
TOWA: Maybe Mizuha?
4GE: That person, that person.
MIZUHA: On Sundays, Sanaka. On Tuesdays, Towa. .
. Sanaka, Lay, 4ge, Sanaka, Lay.
MC: A day to day basis. (Laughs)
MIZUHA: Yeah.
MC: "What's the type of girl you like? Do you like older or younger girls?" Because of this, all of you should listen. [Speaking to the audience]
MIZUHA: From younger to older.
MC: Age doesn't matter? Well, what type of girl do you like?
MIZUHA: Girls. (Laughs)
4GE: Age . . . Younger, probably.
MC: Maybe define it a little more?
4GE: Super girl. (Laughs)
TOWA: From ten to forty. [From his age I'm guessing,
in other words, 10 years younger, forty years older] The type I like
. . . Same as Mizuha! Girls! (Laughs)
LAY: Younger is better. I really like girls with
bangs, though.
SANAKA: Both older and younger have their merits.
To combine them would be best but . . . Immaturity is hard to deal
with. Mature emotions with young skin is best. (Laughs) I like a good
balance, you know. Younger people have a stubborn spirit, right? For
looks, I have various types that I like. Also, I like a person who
likes me.
MC: (Laughs) Thanks for your answers. Next, "What's your favorite part on a girl's body?"
SANAKA: Mouth.
LAY: Fingers.
TOWA: Neck.
4GE: [???]
MIZUHA: Ass. You know, it's narrow and then . . .
an ass.
MC: Narrow???!
MIZUHA: Yeah, narrow and then . . .
MC: Like an hourglass figure?
MIZUHA: Yeah, yeah.
MC: Next we will have question and discussion. From Mikisan, "You like someone, but feel that you can never become more than friends. You feel like you're shut out emotionally, what is the male point of view on this? In other words, can they ever become lovers?"
SANAKA: Who did you want to answer this?
MC: The love expert? Well, Sanaka! [mic given to him]
SANAKA: I'm not really much of an expert on this type of thing . . . I don't know the way that he's shutting you out. Maybe he doesn't realize it. If your feelings are indecisive, you should tell him and see. Then you could confirm it, don't you think? If it doesn't work, then move on. Giving up [getting rejected] is also important in life.
MC: Yes, well. Mikisan, do that and see! From this person, "Teach us some loving words [love letter phrases]." Okay, how about one by one?
SANAKA: I don't really have fundamental courting
words. I don't write them that often, but I do answer to them.
LAY: At the time when your or my leg is hurt, I use
them.
AUDIENCE: ?!!
LAY: When my leg was broken, I wanted some words. [?!!]
AUDIENCE: (Laughs)
LAY: No love words, I'm sorry.
TOWA: Not really loving words, but when it's time
to seduce, I choose the place where it'll happen. [o_O;;]
4GE: I pass.
MIZUHA: Who should I face to say these words to?
MC: Well, how about everyone?
MIZUHA: I meant, out of the members.
MC: Oh! To 4ge.
MIZUHA: (4ge and Mizuha face each other) You've never given me anything!
MC: 4ge! How was that? Now, for the courting to continue.
4GE: Yes I did.
MC: Well, that was a huge success. (Laughs) Next from Yuukosan. "Did you go sightseeing in Niigata yesterday?" But with the LIVE yesterday, well did you have time to go somewhere before or after it even?
SANAKA: At night, around the outskirts of Niigata eki I sort of stumbled around . . But I didn't know any good sightseeing spots. Where is a good sightseeing place here?
( . . . . Silence)
SANAKA: There's nothing?!
MC: Rainbow tower isn't good???
SANAKA: That's different from the Bandai bridge?
MC: A little further down the street. It's a view you shouldn't miss!
SANAKA: Ooh. Awesome.
MC: So, it seems you couldn't do any sightseeing. So, let's move on to the next question, "Why, Sanaka, do you not wear the clothes you make, but instead clothes you buy?"
SANAKA: No, I'm wearing some that I made right now. I made them yesterday. [^_^;;] I also wear storebought clothes though.
MC: This is from the same person and it is to everyone. "What's your favorite sushi ingredient?"
SANAKA: Crabmeat salad, salmon cavier and fatty
tuna.
LAY: Salmon and sea urchin.
TOWA. Tuna.
4GE: Sea urchin!!!!!
MIZUHA: Gari. [<--- Not a sushi ingredient, ^_^;;]
MC: Thanks. (Laughs) Next, "I'm afraid that girls are just thinking I'm a playboy because of my appearance. What should I do? I'm not a playboy!" [ . . . o_O]
SANAKA: . . . They probably think you are. [a playboy]
MC: Any advice?
SANAKA: They just don't know your character. They're
judging you by your pretty boy appearance.
LAY: Yeah, that's usually it, hm?
SANAKA: I think you should make your apperance more
gentle. Then you won't be regarded as just a pretty boy. How's that?
LAY: Playboys don't have any confidence, do they?
TOWA: If you see a playboy, you think it's bad. The
guy who thinks like that, is bad! You should judge people for their
true selves, not for their looks only, right?
MC: This question is for Sanaka, "In the middle of a LIVE, what sort of feeling do you get when you change clothes [or remove clothing]?"
SANAKA: I'm embarrassed because the looks [from other people] give me a sensation. . . That type of feeling. (Laughs)
MC: "Can you tell us what your favorite live house is?" Maybe answer one by one.
SANAKA: For our band, it's easier to do what we
do if the stage is wide and large. Anyway, a lot of the time we run
into each other. My mic stand gets hit, the base bed gets hit. In
old times, on occasion the base bed would break. My ass gets hit.
(Laughs)
LAY: True. (Laughs) Of course wide places are good,
a place with a high ceiling is good too, 'cause then we can use a
disco ball. I like Bottomline in Nagoya.
TOWA: Normally I can only see the people in the back,
so livehouses that have rises and levels I really like. AREA and others
like it.
4GE: Because Nagano is my hometown, I'd say AREA.
[AREA is actually in Tokyo. ;_;]
MC: How was Niigata's JUNK BOX yesterday?
MIZUHA: Mm? Of course, it's obvious isn't it?
SANAKA: It's good that the dressing room has hot
water. When I'm washing my face, it's good if it's not cold. After
that, the dressing room is big so that's important too.
MC: Yes. Well, next "What's your favorite song?"
SANAKA: Lately, "Noble King Snake" has been really
good.
LAY: During a LIVE and recording one in the studio
is different but . . . at a LIVE I'd say "Marvellous" and after that,
"Noble."
TOWA: For me, it'd be "Anachronism." When I first
saw Fatima, Sanaka-kun still had his long black hair. The intro choreography
was really scary. (Laughs) I just thought that was really cool.
4GE: "Fortune."
MIZUHA: ". . . "Blue Velvet."
MC: Are you pleased with the seriousness of it?
MIZUHA: If you hear Sanaka's song, it can make you cry. . . It's a very heavy feeling.
MC: Yesterday must have been very heavy as well. (Laughs) Well, Mizuha-san how about "a present you've received that's made you happy."
MIZUHA: Anything really makes me happy, but, coming
to a LIVE is enough for me.
4GE: Basically anything is good, but if there isn't
a reason well . . .
TOWA: The biggest thing I want is for people to come
to a LIVE and to let me hear them scream out my name. Then it'll be
full of voices.
LAY: Clothes and accessories, things like that are
good. I don't like things because of the price. Letters, also cigarettes
make me happy.
SANAKA: I like letters too, and cigarettes as well.
[This is an older interview, so it'd be when he still smoked] Accessories,
clothing, of course make me happy too, but the best is an item that
has a lot of feeling to it. In email and such, I often get this question,
"What kind of things do you want?" They often continue writing, but
in the end no one has ever said, "please accept/receive me." Even
during a LIVE I often say, "I want you," but no one says it back.
(Laughs)
MC: (Laughs) Yes. Well, everyone take note of the presents! Continuing on, "Up until now, what's the LIVE that's left the deepest impression on you?" is the question but, has there even been a LIVE like that for you?
SANAKA: When comparing, the end of the LIVE and
during the LIVE I don't really remember much, and after I don't really
have much memory of it so I can't really think of a specific impression.
LAY: There're three ones. The LIVE on 6.12.99 and
the one on 9.3.2000, and the one on 10.27.2001 I think...? [o_o]
TOWA: This time, the oneman that we had in Tokyo
was a good impression.
4GE: I always forget them so, the one yesterday was
definitely the best.
MIZUHA: The time I saw Sanaka's XXX.
SANAKA: That happened?
MIZUHA. Pretty much, yeah.
MC: . . . Next, we should be moving on but . . . "Were you satisfied yesterday?" is the question but . . .
SANAKA: Mm, it was sort of like I was, but I had the feeling of not being satisfied. . . . Uh, you mean at the LIVE?
MC: Which kind . . . Well, they didn't write down what they meant.
SANAKA: Uh. . . After the LIVE???! Maybe we'll talk
about that afterwards. But, at the LIVE, I was immediately satisfied.
LAY: The LIVE is satisfaction to me, after the LIVE
it was long.
TOWA: The encore yesterday was very fun. The people
here who went to the live yesterday, (talking to the audience) Could
you see the drumming?
AUDIENCE: We couldn't see you! [o_O;;;]
TOWA: REALLY?!
4GE: This is satisfactionnnnn.
MIZUHA: I got into my hot bath but, the coconut incense
smelled bad. [x_x...]
MC: Next, "What would you do for me on my birthday?" In other words, if it was your girlfriend's birthday, what would you do for them or give them?
MIZUHA: Birthday . . .
MC: Do you think you'd do anything special for them?
MIZUHA: A special thing. Oh, something out of the ordinary . . .
MC: Yeah.
MIZUHA: Definitely.
MC: Oh, then tell us what you would do by all means, please.
MIZUHA: I would definitely go to some trouble for it. (Laughs)
MC: For example?
MIZUHA: For example . . . (Blushes)
MC: (Laughs) Not that kind of meaning . . .
MIZUHA: (Laughs) Well, what kind of meaning then?
MC: It's not what you're thinking about.
MIZUHA: Like, buying a cake for her?
MC: Yeah, yeah. Maybe you'd shop at a slightly expensive store for her. That kind of thing, right?
MIZUHA: Yes.
MC: Well, it's okay if you say what you were thinking as well. (Laughs)
MIZUHA: That's a little various. Probably because I'd do anything.
4GE: I'm not your girlfriend so I don't know. (Booing
from the audience.)
TOWA: Anything you were to say, I'd listen to.
LAY: I would get her her age in roses. I like such
a cold thing.
SANAKA: I'd borrow a car and take her someplace far
away, and then the moment when it became her birthday . . . and we'd
leave when we wanted to. I like to exceed what's normal.
MC: Well, everyone, very gentle boyfriends aren't they?
AUDIENCE: . . . .
MC: Yes, well, let's continue . . .
AUDIENCE: (Laughs)
MC: Let's move on to the next question. "What is your sexually sensitive area?"
SANAKA: When there isn't any feeling involved, it's
useless already. Also, it depends on the condition and feeling of
the day even if I'm being touched. So, I don't really know where it'd
be . . . it all just depends.
LAY: Because it feels ticklish, it's blamed. It's
better to blame. [?!!]
TOWA: The neck is good.
4GE: That's a trashy question, I'm not going to answer.
[XD!!]
MIZUHA: The back.
MC: Continuing on, this is for Mizuha-san, "You stopped piercing your mouth, right?"
MIZUHA: I took out my piercing and like water came out and it made this "pyuuuuu" noise. [?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]
MC: So you really took it out?
MIZUHA: Miso soup came out too. (Laughs) [The kanji for soup is the same as pus, . . . he just put miso in front. Nice . . joke there. x_x.....]
MC: Did Lay-san see it? Any other members of the band see it happen?
LAY: Me, Towa and 4ge saw it.
MIZUHA: Yep.
MC: Well, next. "Are you a sadist (S) or a masochist (M)?" [o_O;;;;]
MIZUHA: Eee, both are good for me.
4GE: Of course I'm a B. (Pass, 3.5)
TOWA: Both.
LAY: I think I'm a sadist.
SANAKA: It depends on who I'm with and what I'm feeling
like at the time.
MC: Next, "If you could make a fresh start in life, what would you want to become? What did you wanna be when you were a kid?"
SANAKA: When I was little, I wanted to be a Hollywood
star. If I could do it over again . . . Hollywood star.
LAY: I want to become British.
TOWA: When I was a kid, I wanted to do sports. If
I could start over, I'd want to be 4ge-kun.
MIZUHA: When I was a kid . . . At what point when
I was a kid?
SANAKA: Wasn't there a time when you realized you
wanted to be something?
MIZUHA: Ah... yeah. On TV there was this show, "Quiz
Time Shougakusei." I wanted to be the host of that.
AUDIENCE: (Laughs)
MIZUHA: I really did want to be that. If I could
start over though . . . a pro-wrestler.
REST OF THE BAND: You can, you can, it's okay, don't
worry. (Laughs) [XDDDD]
MIZUHA: I will!
MC: Next, "Sanaka-san, you're always so bold. How do you come off being so sexy?"
SANAKA: Aa... I think boys and girls are sexy in
different ways. This is difficult . . . It's hard to be bold like
that, sometimes I get embarrassed.
LAY: Foreign-ish.
SANAKA: I think that's sexy. But then everyone is
different.
MIZUHA: Kenshirou??
AUDIENCE: (Laughs)
SANAKA: That's too bold.
MC: Next, "Do you divide between your real intention and it just being business?" type of question. There has to be both right?
SANAKA: As performers there are things that are
demanded, or expected out of us . . .
LAY: Mm. . . That's how it is, isn't it.
MC: Okay, now it's time for the last question. "How did you pass your night last night?"
MIZUHA: (Laughs) I was in my coconut bath. I was
really tired.
4GE: (Laughs) I did the same, together with Mizuha.
[^_^;;;;;;;]
TOWA: I waited at room 208 but no one came, so I
slept alone.
LAY: Well I immediately went to 208 to call on you....
SANAKA: Yesterday, at the live you said, "Wait in
208." And I waited there! I waited until four in the morning. But
no one came.
LAY: I went to see the state of things.
SANAKA: Then it was like someone was coming with
a grinding noise. At 208. "He's come??" I was thinking, it was probably
Lay. (Laughs)
LAY: And I was like, "How'd you know?"
SANAKA: And I was like, "Now you're here!"
LAY: Immediately after I suggested we go outside.
SANAKA: So we went outside, and went by some convenience
stores but they weren't open. Afterwards, this foreign pushy sales
person was like, "How about a massage?" And we said, "Nahhh, that's
allright, thanks." (Laughs) Then we went back to the hotel and this
time we went to Lay's room from about five in the morning till nine,
just talking.
LAY: And now, I'm soooo sleepy. (Laughs)
SANAKA: We just wanted to talk till our throats were
raw.
LAY: We talked about various stuff, . . . Serious
things concerning the fans, really.
SANAKA: Yeah.. Like, what kind of things do fans
want to see at the LIVEs? And then, what should we do to achieve that?
We talked about those kinds of things.
MC: Yes. Well, thank you very much. It would be great if you could give the fans a message now. Thanks.
MIZUHA: From here on out, please keep supporting
Fatima!
4GE: Today was great!!
TOWA: From here on out, think of Fatima! Thank you.
LAY: Yesterday, the fans were awesome at the LIVE,
I've really come to like Niigata.
SANAKA: Let's see each other again in July, please
come to see us!
MC: Thank you so much!
