Urgent Fatima House Infiltration Report!

*** translator's notes are in [ ] brackets

SHOXX EXCLUSIVE! What has happened to Fatima!? They have been attacked by something like a mysterious disease!! Recently, hasn't Fatima's appearence been funny? Even when trying to call, there's been no connection at all ... What's happened? Feeling anxious, we -- SHOXX reporters -- needed to find out what really happened, so we showed up at Fatima's House, somewhere in Tokyo. And what kind of spectacle did we see there?! We identified a puzzling disease that had affected all Fatima members . But how had this happened!! Let the whole story of assault coverage begin!

SHOXX: Recently, we've tried to get in touch with Fatima to no avail, so that's why we're here to see what's going on. What happened?

Lay: In regards to that, I've just had no desire to do anything.

Sanaka: Even though we all live in the same place, we haven't really talked much... I haven't contacted anyone, basically isolating myself. We all seem to have 'gogatsubyou." I've tried to improve my situation with utmost effort, but I can't keep myself from being depresssed.

SHOXX: According to the Japanese Dictionary Koujien, "Gogatsubyou" is "a sickness that affects mainly new students and new company employees a month after May, where symptoms of neurosis are frequent."

Lay: This has also been recent for SHOXX. The editorial department has also had a surprise attack that's filled the place because of all the new things that are happening ... It's probably just the season.

SHOXX: I see. Well then, let's do a medical exam of everyone's symptooms.

Everyone: (Darkly) Please.

SHOXX: Alright, Let's start with Towa-kun?

Towa: I feel dizzy, like I'm going to puke.

SHOXX: Is it morning sickness? (All members laugh out loud!)

Towa: That and I'm scared of someone, something that visits my room; for some reason, the door to my room opens up. So fearfully, I go to see who's there ... and there's only the sound of footsteps.

SHOXX: Do you know where it was coming from?

Towa: I would rather you not ask. It's because of this, I cannot trust anyone.

SHOXX: How about you, 4ge-kun?

4ge: I've isolated myself.

SHOXX: But I saw your television... there's only white noise...

4ge: There are things to be seen in it, but only I can see them.

SHOXX: And why is that?

4ge: Recently, tv shows have been boring. I really like recording shows, but the new shows for spring aren't interesting. And so .... that's why. Baseball season has begun. And baseball goes into overtime, so I've stopped recording from 9 o'clock.

SHOXX: You must be upset. That's why you've locked yourself up in your room.

4ge: No. That's not why. (Smile).

Mizuha: You recorded over thirty minutes!

SHOXX: (Laughs) Well, how about you Mizuha-kun?

Mizuha: How am I feeling! Well, up until now I could do anything if I had energy. I've lived with such a motto. But lately, I've had no energy.

SHOXX: Have you taken any energy supplements?

Mizuha: I've taken this and that, but they've done nothing. I can't even workout.

SHOXX: So you're experiencing a loss of physical strength.

Mizuha: My muscles have declined in strength.

SHOXX: That is terrible! ... And Lay-kun? What of your symptoms?

Lay: Usually I don't like sweets, but that's all I've been eating.

SHOXX: I need to ask, yet again, what is the reason for this?

Lay: Maybe it's stress. But you see, we always receive a lot of sweets, but no one in the band likes sweets. I'm the type of person who doesn't like things going to waste. As a result, my room is full of sweets. And when I see them, I still hate them, but I eat them. But I only throw away the Chupa Chups.

SHOXX: So you've neglected creating songs, and have been eating candy?

Lay: Yes. Whenever I'm in my room, I usually get the urge to create, but because of this candy, I can't do it at all ... (Serious tone).

SHOXX: Sanaka-kun, it appears as though you've been reading books on insomnia and depression.

Sanaka: I don't really like being around people, so I don't want to go to a hospital. So I decided that I would be in charge of my own recovery. However, I only see the characters [kanji and kana], but the meaning does not come to me. They're merely a code [that I can't understand]. And with that, I've been unable to write any lyrics.

SHOXX: Did you have any 'premonitions'?

Sanaka: When I think about it now, I think I did. Right when I was writing the lyrics to "akai bara no suupu," and I noticed that I started to feel sick. Quickly, I became seriously sick and it wasn't just me who noticed, but everyone else as well.

SHOXX: So the depression inherent in "akai bara no suupu" infected everyone?

Sanaka: It seems so. With how you put it, it must be the lyric's fault.

Lay: It is. As well as the okashi's* fault.
[ * here Lay is making a pun on the Japanese word for lyrics 'kashi' and the Japanese word for sweets 'okashi' ]

SHOXX: Yummy!

Sanaka: It is the lyric's (kashi's) fault!

SHOXX: Well, before these spring blues, how was your activity?

Sanaka: We each did our share! Lay was in charge of cooking, and since we all like watching TV, 4ge was in charge of recording shows. And cleaning and laundry was ... Towa?

Towa: I was like the bitch boy!

Sanaka: Yes, and Mizuha was the do-it-yourselfer. We are a very frugal household, so we've made most of our own furniture.

SHOXX: That's incredible! And what was your part, Sanaka?

Sanaka: I watch over the pets, because I love animals.

SHOXX: Is it difficult to decide on the menu, Lay-kun?

Lay: Not at all. I always think about nutrition. Before lives, I'll make pasta. The morning of, when everyone is waking up, I boil the noodles to al dente, and then put them on the table. I know what everyone likes and dislikes. For Sanaka, I know not to add any pepper.

SHOXX: Could you tell me what everyone doesn't like?

Lay: (Worried) ... Well, 4ge hates mushrooms. Sanaka can't eat peppers or some kinds of fish. But they don't know that I put some of this stuff in what I prepare. Like hamburgers.

Sanaka: You do ...

Lay: Towa can't eat eggs, and he's very particular about what kind of rice we eat.

Towa: Seriously, "akita komachi" and koshihikari are worthless varieties of rice. They make me ill if I eat them, so I refuse it.

SHOXX: The type you don't want to be associated with.

Lay: And Mizuha doesn't really dislike much other than ramen. When we go to eat ramen, Mizuha always orders the chaashuudon*.
* a type of Japanese rice bowl

SHOXX: That's interesting. How awful. What about laundry? Is it difficult?

Towa: I wash clothes at night, and leave them to air dry. I'm the first to get up in the morning, and so I clean and take in the clothes. I also make sure to leave a change of clothes by everyone's pillows before they wake up.

Sanaka: Towa decides what we're going to wear for all of our lives.

SHOXX: (Laughs) That sounds like such a fun life. So how do you think your May blues will be cured?

Lay: Maybe once May is over, we'll all be fine.

SHOXX: Ah, that's simple enough (Laughs).

Sanaka: I think in the next installment, we'll be much more energetic and crazy things will happen.

Lay: We can only wait for May to pass by.

Sanaka: And the fans can help. I think a warm message would be just the thing to cure these May blues. Perhaps they could say something at the lives.

SHOXX: Well, what would everyone want the fans to say that would make you truly happy?

Towa: Well, for myself, ... (coughs and then clears his throat) Towa-sama! Towa-sama!! Towa-samaa ♥♥♥

Mizuha: Pu!!

4ge: For myself! I'd like some rapper, from outside of Japan, to come and shout: Yo! Yo! Yo!

SHOXX: That could be difficult if no foreign guys come.

Sanaka: Everyone, when 4ge comes out, please say something like: Yo! Yo! 4ge yo! (Laughs)

Mizuha: And for me .... just say it! BAKAYARO!!

SHOXX: ....................... (Laughs).

Lay: For myself, anything goes. I would like some support from guy fans.

SHOXX: And Sanaka, please.

Sanaka: If I like it, I like it. If I hate it, I hate it. If I want to marry, I want to marry. If I want a hug, I'll give a hug~! Don't be afraid to try anything on me.

SHOXX: You want words that affect you?

Sanaka: Yes. I don't want just my name, I want all thoughts and feelings! It is that kind of support that makes my heart stop beating. And it makes the live that much better. .... no ... it makes any live better.

SHOXX: If everything that everyone's said is put into action, I'm sure that will greatly help all of you out.

Sanaka: And these May blues will disappear like that!

SHOXX: And so, until then please visit the doctor everyone.

Lay: Nah, we'd rather have a house call.

SHOXX: Alright (Laughs).
