A couple of days later we were in Osaka. We still had the same damn heavy bags we’d brought to Nagoya, but we’d been to Osaka a few times before so we figured we’d be safe in finding our hotel. How stupid. We see on our trusty map that we have to walk through one of those notorious shopping ‘arcades’ which are just these shitty little roads that are enclosed overhead, with millions of shops lining the way. I bet some of you are like, woah, that sounds so crazy cool! But, when you’ve been lost in one of these labyrinths in Kumamoto before, anddd, when you’re dragging heavy ass bags around thousands of happy shoppers, who don’t really care enough to move out of your way … things can become tedious. But we figure we’re going the right direction. We walk ALL the way down this one arcade, come out on the other end and say, ‘hm. Maybe we went the wrong way.’ We ask this old lady standing next to us who looks at our map and starts to laugh. This is the second time where we’ve handed our map to someone and they’ve laughed at it/us. This is not good. She says, ‘you’re on the wrong side of the map!’ We figure we’ve walked alllllll the way across the opposite end of where we’re supposed to be. She happily flips the map over, so now it’s facing the right direction and hands it to us. So now we must backtrack and go the OTHER direction. Fineee. More happy shoppers, more dragging heavy ass bags.
This is just one of the many buildings along the way in the never-ending arcade. Spooky.
We get to the other side finally, and see the livehouse, Osaka Muse, right there.
Pretty... right?
We look a street over and see our hotel. Wow. And this hotel is actually pretty damned nice. The room was tiny but comfortable. That was enough for one day, so we went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and Yas decides to go out and get some food. She goes to McDonalds, then goes to the convenience store that’s right across the street from our hotel/Muse. Right when she’s walking in one side of the conbini, which happens to be SunKusu, Kanoma walks in from the other door. He sees her, and her bags of McDonalds, and does the typical bandboy-hiding-from-fan thing. He pushes his hair over his eyes and adjusts his sunglasses, and goes straight for the porn. Yas ran out. Hahahha. All in all, we judge this a good omen for the upcoming concert.

In line for the show, guess who we see? Telly and her pet. They stare at us, or rather, Telly stares at us while pet continues her empty staring. We stare at her, wondering what the fuck she has against us (WARNING, this mystery will actually never be solved), and then go inside. This place is actually really big. The problem – the air con didn’t work that great. And this place was packed. We started out towards the back, but then moved up to the front. Once again we grabbed a great spot and just happen to be in front of Lay again – which means, Telly is nearby.
The show starts!! They began with ‘Kesenai Ame’, which was an interesting way to start the show. Yeah. Again they played the Exit version of ‘Love me’ which I’d really love to hear again. That song is fucking awesome. Afterwards it was ‘Shizumu Taion’ during which they were doing some fucked up things with the lights. They got to have a disco ball during it, which they love, so it was going crazy during this one. Then! During ‘Noble’ they shot off a bunch of glitter and everyone was like, ‘OHMYGOD A GUN SHOT. Oh! It’s glitter! Happiness!’ So everyone is grabbing their glitter and dancing around, and I’m like, what the hell is going on. And then, of course, everyone pulls out their lighters and holds them up during ‘Noble.’ This is when the members stop, and throw their lighters out into the crowd. Lay just snaps his arm back like a friggin’ pitcher and chunks his lighter into the audience. It hits this girl RIGHT in the head who’s next to us and she’s like ‘ ITAI ‘ and all collapsing on the floor and holding her head. Me and Yas are like, ‘ woah.’
Then it was the members’ intros, which are always pretty fun and amusing, and of course, Kanoma targets Towa to make fun of and tease. Poor Towa. Always getting the shit. Kanoma says that Towa HAS to say something this time, so Towa mumbles something about all the salary men and OLs in Osaka. People laugh. Then it’s Lay’s turn to say something, but he just laughs in his weird voice into the microphone and plays the theremin, and that’s good enough for him Kanoma decides … and moves onto 4ge. He says to the crowd, ‘Don’t you want to hear this wonderful guitarist?’ Everyone’s like, ‘YEAHHH.’ So 4ge takes his guitar and puts it up on his shoulder, and walks across the stage, aiming the end of his guitar at people and hitting the chords so it sounds like a gunshot going off. :D But Kanoma’s like, ‘nooo, they want to hear you play something!’ So 4ge began to play the notes on the scale, where it goes like, ‘do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do’ but kept hitting the notes wrong, and being like, ‘ AWW, SHIT, I SUCK.’ So then Kanoma is really all excited/frustrated, and waving his arms around and saying, ‘ NO, they realllly want to hear you play!’ So then 4ge plays the Super Mario Theme! And everyone is all, ‘yayy! Wooo!,’ getting down with the bro’s. Then it was Mizuha’s turn and as always, he said something extremely hilarious, because the audience exploded into laughter. Me and Yas were like, ‘hm, didn’t quite catch that one.’ But then he played a fairly well known children’s song on his guitar, and that really excited people. Childhood memories and all that. Then Kanoma began to talk and said that he really likes the furi that we all do for ‘Aishu no teihen,’ it’s his favorite. It really is pretty fun, … I don’t know how to describe it, but it’s pretty hilarious.
So they start to play again, and I don’t know what happened between here and Nagoya, but the girls just snapped. They started climbing over the bar and getting on the stage and then launching themselves on top of the crowd. I looked behind me and saw this gothic girl just standing there. I don’t know why, but I turned back a few minutes later and saw her making this target sign with her hands. I was like, the fuck is she doing? Eyeing her a little bit more carefully now, as I figured her to be sort of deranged, and all of a sudden, she stopped moving her hand, kept her target on this girl next to me and just threw herself at the girl. The girl was like, ‘AHHH, the hell?!!’ I stepped a little bit to the side, sort of …shocked? And then began to watch the gothic girl, as she just kept picking out these new girls as her targets, and would just run them over. Wow. That was pretty entertaining.
During ‘ Candy Strippers’ Kanoma began to strip off his clothing, and all the girls were excited. He turned so his back was to us and pulled his pants down, and started rubbing his ass. XD Which, revealed to everyone, his leopard print thong. Stimulating! So this only made everyone go MORE insane, and there was much more crowd surfing, and girl aiming, and at one point, this girl tried to climb onto the stage and just ended up falling onto the concrete. I was like, ‘….. is she okay!?’ I was getting concerned, because I didn’t see anyone get up, of course everyone around me didn’t give a shit, but then all of a sudden the girl popped right back up, all energetic and dove back into the crowd. C r a z y.
So, I must mention Fido. She was a major Mizuha fan. During every spot of silence she would bellow, and I mean bellow, MIZUHAAAA~~~~. Like the deepest voice I’ve ever heard. And man did it reverberate through the hall. Well, somehow, she worked her way up to the front and started crowd surfing. She got to the edge of the crowd, and it was like, ‘oh, you are gonnna falllll~~.’ But amazingly, this was where Kanoma was, leaning right over the crowd, and so he grabbed her before she could fall, and started trucking around the stage in circles, carrying her around. He was like, ‘I’ve got this girl, what should I do with her? ! Where should I put her?!’ Lay was cracking up at him. Finally he deposited her near the end of the stage, and she immediately jumped back into the crowd. Yasmine had somehow wriggled her way right in front of Kanoma, and seeing her, he reached his hand to her’s, and grabbed onto it. She later told me that his glove was pretty sweaty.
Lay wasn’t going as crazy as he was at Nagoya tonight, he seemed a little out of it. But nearing the end he did start to lift his skirt like a maniac again. He’s really into that business. Not that anyone minded. Mizuha was spitting water at everyone as usual, which no one really minded either, being that the place was 130 degrees. Kanoma was even going around throwing water on everyone with his water bottle. Only once did we really get to interact with 4ge since we weren’t on his side, but he jumped over to ours once, noticed us and was like, ‘OHH, HEY GUYS,’ and did his little wave/point, which is always cute.
All in all, the show was great fun, despite the heat. It was the first time I’d got to hear Fortune live, as I’d never heard it at any of the shows I’d been to before. It’s such a different song live. It really drags you in. Kanoma really knows how to get into these different personalities during each song, and during this one, it’s just creepy. He always says different things during the break in this song, at least, he did at each show we saw at this time, so it has this really unsettling affect. Which is good. Again, after about three hours the show was over – and everyone was so nastily sweaty. We were like, ‘uhhh, suffocation~~.’ So we quickly went outside to actually breathe. But once again, Fatima had been impressive. And once again, thanks to Towa, here’s the setlist. :D
