4ge Day

Date: April 20, 2005 (Wed) SOLD OUT!!!
Place: Urawa Narciss (浦和ナルシス)
Start: 18:30
Name of the show: 関東集中汚染企画モノ単独公演 4ge企画 (translation: The contamination of the Kantou region project: solo performances. 4ge plan)

Day three. 4ge! New show - new music hall. Although Urawa is located within Tokyo, it is still rather far away. It should be noted that we were well-prepared for each show having printed out a detailed map of all the areas and having considered the route thoroughly. However, sometimes it didn’t help us much. Like on this day. The way to Urawa was rather complicated and we were wrong in our estimated time calculations, thus it took us longer to get there than we had expected. Well, looking at the map we could see that Narciss is located very close to the station, so we didn’t worry about being late. While we were examining our map on the station a middle-aged man came up to us and asked if we needed help. He had a camera in his hands and when my friend and I looked down at his fingers we saw… eh…. thick layers of dirt under his nails *ewwww*. His smile was most unpleasing^^;;; Both my friend and I decided that this hentai would definitely show us the way to some back alley rather than to Narciss haha! So we told him that we had already found the way and hurried in the direction of the toilet ;P After we left our ‘sanctuary’ and made sure hentai had disappeared *lol* we went outside the station. At the nearest koban1 we drew the policeman from his conversation with a couple of guys (who seemed to be frequent ‘guests’ there ^^;) to be sure we chose the right way. Despite all this we did get lost. After walking about 10 minutes more than was needed we thought that we could have missed our turn. The surroundings looked a bit desolate. Roriitas were nowhere to be seen. We surely went the wrong way. It was already time for the doors to open, so we were getting really late. We looked around desperately trying to find somebody who could help us. And we found our herrrrrooo!!! XD We ran up to a man who was crossing the street and using our poor Japanese skills tried to ask him the way pointing to a certain spot on the map. The man was dressed in a shirt and it was getting cold already, so the first thing he said was “AH! Samui desu neeee!2”, then grabbed our map and began examining it. However, he evidently didn’t know how to get to Narciss, so he stopped an older man and they began loudly discussing the possible routes ^^; Obviously finding it hard to explain the way they told us to follow them and ran in front of us. Ah, notorious Japanese politeness! If it happened only once, I’d praise the person, but since this is in their manner, I’d rather praise the nation ^^;; After 5-7 minutes of running around the blocks the older man left us cuz we had nearly approached the station again (see, it’s really close!) and the younger one accompanied us to the very doors of Narciss. God bless him! *LOL*

There were still many girls outside, although we had already missed our numbers, so we didn’t wait to enter. This time we paid for our drinks and occupied the place we found the most suitable. The stage was very low, but the floor of the hall had levels so that the further you stand the better you can see. We decided to move backwards to the upper level because otherwise it would have been problematic to see anything. I don’t remember what music they played before the concert, but my friend says it was the theme ? surprise! - to X-files. XDDD

Before the live started the voice that supposedly belonged to 4ge told us not to use photo and video cameras, mobile phones…. shampoos, conditioners, etc. haha!

Some more waiting and the show began! When they finally went onstage I was overjoyed to see that I had been right in my guess of what they would look like. They all… cosplayed 4ge!!! XDD

Towa was wearing 4ge’s white costume:
-->

Lay:
-->

4ge was dressed the same as on Towa’s day (only the hairdo was different):
-->

Mizuha was 4ge’s twin for the evening. He had the same clothes (the colour slightly differed though), the same hairdo and during the live he even repeated 4ge’s movements ^_^

Finally, Kanoma… I really wonder how they decided who would wear this or that dress. But it seems to me Kanoma simply grabbed the dress he was wearing and didn’t let anybody else touch it:P It’s the dress for HIM! When he went onstage the girls squealed XDDDD Those who have seen 4ge’s tiny hot pink fringed camisole dress can understand why.

-->

Unfortunately Shoxx decided that the reports on those lives should be b/w which is bad cos they were full of colour. Thus, try to visualize Kanoma in this pink-pink marvel combined with the pink-pink collar. His butterfly tattoo could be seen from under it. His hair was backcombed and set up. *_* The reaction: jaws dropped! :P

They started the live with Persona. After the song Kanoma told us that for this show they decided to change the names again ? “4ge no mama3” ^^;; Thus, Towa was 1ge (Ichige), Lay ? 2ge (Nige), Mizuha ? 3ge (Mige), 4ge ? of course, 4ge (Shige), Kanoma ? 5ge (Goge). After that Kanoma said that the fans had new names too, according to their ticket numbers: 100ge, 115ge, etc. ^^;; What was my name then? 187ge, yep XDDD

At this show I finally heard Tsumugi ito live. Besides we were rewarded with another song from the upcoming album. This time ? Ajisai! During Humiliate Kanoma repeated his wish from Towa’s live singing “Humiliaaaate me more, 4geee!!” Looks like this idea has been haunting him for quite a while *lol*. And when it was time for the circle the fans cried out their new names properly: “Ichige! Mige! Nige! 4ge! Goge!” No rehearsal needed. :P

It was fun to watch the photographer from Shoxx who was present at all those shows, cos he evidently enjoyed the live himself (he should have paid more attention to his job though, cos most of the pictures I saw in Shoxx later are fucked up -_-;). As for the fans, they were usual Fatima fans ? very very young and no less crazy. A few times they tried to push us from the upper level as we were standing on the edge of it >_<;

The first part of the show was over and the band left the stage. Their appearance after the break was most unexpected! We felt that people behind us started pushing violently (my friend even had to jump down on the lower level in order not to fall). At first we thought that some mad fans tried to make their way through the crowd closer to the stage. A few seconds later we saw that they were not fans, but… mad Fatima members *lol* wearing freaky grey overalls and masks covering their heads entirely. Masks didn’t let you see who was who, but there were only 4 of them, because Towa chose the usual way of coming out ? from the backstage.

Already on the stage Kanoma explained that it was not Fatima anymore, it was Downeeeer!!! I didn’t even hope to see Downer (for those who still don’t know: Downer is Fatima’s live side project). They never announce their lives on the official site. You have to be a permanent resident of Japan to learn about when and where they perform. Among other songs they performed Sticky Flower which they had already played in the first part, as Fatima. And this high speed version was hardly recognizable. I heard that Downer’s arrangements of the songs were heavier, but didn’t expect them to be THAT heavy ^^;; It was almost heavy metal *lol*. And Kanoma was not singing, he was roaring XD The other songs they played were just as heavy and even more. The girls were headbanging viciously ^^; Before they left the stage Kanoma took off his mask. The rest remained disguised ^^.

The lights went up. Some people started leaving the hall, some were still hoping for the band to come out again. We were sure though that the show was over. However, while we were standing in the queue to the toilet one of them went onstage ^^; The mask was on, so it was hard to say who that was, but when he started speaking we thought it was 4ge’s voice ^.~. He was walking around the stage talking very slowly: “Repeeeat afteeeer meeee” ? he said in English and the girls started repeating each and every word after him. “Watashi wa… kyou no raibu de… totemo… tanoshikatta... desu…4”. He reminded us of the next live at Hachiouji and left the stage. The end.
